Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Aiversity platform at aiversity.io (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access or use the Platform.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("you," "your," or "User") and Aiversity ("Aiversity," "we," "us," or "our"). We may update these Terms from time to time, and your continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Account Registration and Eligibility
To access certain features of the Platform, you must create an account. When registering, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
- Maintain and promptly update your account information to keep it accurate and complete
- Maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials
- Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. Users under 18 must have parental or guardian consent. Accounts for users in grades 5–12 are provisioned through participating schools and are subject to institutional oversight. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.
3. Free Trial
Aiversity offers a 3-day free trial that provides full access to all courses, projects, tools, and platform features. The free trial is subject to the following terms:
- Credit card required. A valid payment method is required to start your trial. You will not be charged during the 3-day trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your card will be automatically charged the annual membership fee.
- The trial automatically expires at the end of the 3-day period with no further obligation.
- Free trial access is limited to one trial per person. Creating multiple accounts to obtain additional trial periods is a violation of these Terms.
- We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the free trial offer at any time without prior notice.
4. Membership and Pricing
After the free trial, continued access to the Platform requires an active paid membership.
All-Access Membership: The All-Access Membership is priced at $1,200 per year. This includes access to all courses across all four levels, all professional path courses, all projects and credentials, the AI tutor, and every future course addition for the duration of your membership.
Auto-Renewal: Your membership will automatically renew at the end of each annual billing cycle at the then-current rate unless you cancel before the renewal date. We will send a reminder notification before each renewal.
How to Cancel: You may cancel your membership at any time by contacting us at support@aiversity.io or through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to the Platform until your paid period expires.
Price Changes: We reserve the right to change membership pricing. Any price change will take effect at the start of the next billing cycle following notice of the change. Existing members will be notified at least 30 days before any price increase takes effect.
5. Team Accounts
Aiversity offers Team accounts for organizations with 5 or more seats. Team accounts are subject to the following:
- Custom pricing. Team pricing is based on seat count and is arranged on a per-organization basis. Contact us at team@aiversity.io for a quote.
- Volume licensing. Team accounts may be invoiced and support purchase order (PO) billing.
- Admin controls. The designated Team administrator is responsible for managing user access, assigning seats, and ensuring compliance with these Terms by all Team members.
- Each Team seat is for an individual, named user. Seats may not be shared between individuals simultaneously but may be reassigned from one employee to another.
- Team accounts are governed by a separate Team Agreement in addition to these Terms. In the event of a conflict, the Team Agreement controls.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Platform responsibly and in compliance with all applicable laws. The following activities are prohibited:
- No credential sharing. Your account credentials are personal and non-transferable. You may not share your login information with any other person or allow others to access the Platform using your account.
- No scraping or automated access. You may not use bots, scrapers, crawlers, or any other automated means to access, collect, or extract content from the Platform.
- No redistribution. You may not reproduce, distribute, publicly display, sell, license, sublicense, or otherwise make available any Aiversity course content, materials, or resources to any third party without our prior written consent.
- No circumvention. You may not attempt to bypass, disable, or circumvent any access controls, security features, or technical measures implemented on the Platform.
- No disruptive conduct. You may not interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Platform or the data contained therein.

Violation of these acceptable use terms may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund.
7. Intellectual Property
Aiversity Content: All course content, materials, curricula, lesson scripts, quizzes, rubrics, guides, assessments, branding, trademarks, logos, and platform design are the exclusive property of Aiversity or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Your membership grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use this content for your personal or internal professional development purposes only.
Your Work: You retain full ownership of all projects, artifacts, code, documents, and other original work that you create while using the Platform ("User Work"). Aiversity claims no ownership rights over your User Work. You grant Aiversity a limited, non-exclusive license to use anonymized or aggregated examples of User Work for the purposes of improving the Platform, provided no personally identifiable information is included.

8. Refund Policy
Aiversity offers a 30-day money-back guarantee on All-Access Memberships. If you are not satisfied with your membership for any reason, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your initial purchase by contacting us at support@aiversity.io.

Refunds for Team accounts are handled on a case-by-case basis and are subject to the terms of the applicable Team Agreement.
9. Privacy and Data
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the Platform, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Disclaimers
The Platform and all content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aiversity disclaims all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy.
Aiversity does not guarantee any specific career outcomes, salary increases, or professional results from completing courses or earning credentials. Individual results will vary based on effort, experience, market conditions, and other factors.
Course content is for educational purposes only and does not constitute professional, legal, financial, or technical advice. You should consult qualified professionals for specific guidance in those domains.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Aiversity, its officers, directors, employees, agents, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Platform, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), statute, or any other legal theory, even if Aiversity has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
In no event shall Aiversity's total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform exceed the amount you paid to Aiversity in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Aiversity and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
13. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, for material changes, by sending a notification to the email address associated with your account or by displaying a prominent notice on the Platform.
Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Platform and cancel your membership.
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Grounds for termination include, but are not limited to, violation of these Terms, fraudulent or illegal activity, or extended inactivity.
Upon termination, your right to access the Platform ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including but not limited to intellectual property provisions, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification.
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. See Section 4 for details on cancellation and its effects on your billing cycle.
15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation between the parties. If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation within 30 days, either party may submit the dispute to binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Commercial Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall take place in the State of Delaware. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding.
